Pick Analysis. Defensive Tackle. Ohio State. Tommy Togiai. 3. Scouting Report. player. 49

The Green Bay Packers struggled mightily against the run for the majority of the season, and ultimately that came down to not having enough players to either shoot gaps or hold their ground against double teams. Kenny Clark was obviously the exception, but having another player create pressure from the interior will be important in 2021.

Enter Tommy Togiai, who was part of an excellent defensive line at Ohio State. Togiai had just 4.5 tackles for loss and three sacks in 2020 for the Buckeyes, but his ability to get out of his stance quickly and push the pocket with his strength is impressive. He also doesn’t get pushed off his spot often, and with multiple threats on the Packers’ defensive line, he’ll get his chance to shine.

Scouting Report. Center. Drake Jackson. 4. Pick Analysis. Kentucky. player. 49

One of the Packers with their future up in the air is center Corey Linsley. If the Packers are unable to bring him back, they have a couple of options. One is to bring along 2020 day three pick Jake Hanson, who has the athleticism to succeed at getting to the second level or to have Elgton Jenkins slide to center.

However it happens, it will still leave some depth issues along the offensive line. Kentucky’s Drake Jackson would fit in very well at center. He’s got a nastiness to his game and has no issue resetting the line of scrimmage and driving defenders off their spot.
