Chicago Bears mock draft: Day three picks

Fifth Round: David Moore, OG, Grambling

In the fifth round, the Chicago Bears go back to the FCS level to address their offensive line. This time they pick Grambling offensive guard David Moore.

With Moore, the Chicago Bears get another strong run blocker, who shows impressive strength. He does struggle some with technique and at times lunges so he will need some time to develop.

Sixth Round: Malcolm Koonce, OLB, Buffalo

The Chicago Bears decide to go grab the best player to come out of Buffalo since Khalil Mack when they select pass rusher Malcolm Koonce in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Over the past two seasons, Koonce has recorded 14 sacks and been named first-team All-MAC both years. He would fit well in Chicago as his ideal fit in the NFL is as a 3-4 outside linebacker.

Seventh Round: Alaric Jackson, OT, Iowa

With their last pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears decided to add one more offensive lineman. With this selection, they decide to take Iowa offensive tackle Alaric Jackson.

While Jackson may be forced to move inside to offensive guard he should at the bare minimum give the Bears some depth among the offensive line.
