Chicago Bears Seven Round 2021 NFL Mock Draft

Chicago Bears mock draft third round: Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse
One of the reasons the Chicago Bears defense struggled this year was a lack of turnovers. The team was only able to account for ten interceptions this year and only two of them were from their safeties. Due to this deficiency, I look for them to add a ballhawk in the secondary.
A player who would fit this need is Syracuse’s Andre Cisco. In just 24 career games Cisco has accounted for 13 interceptions. This is the type of production the Bears need from the safety position, and if they can get a player this productive in the third round they would be stupid not to pull the trigger on the pick.
Cisco does have some deficiencies in his game including being over aggressive in coverage and not being much of a force against the run which will likely cause him to slip to the third round. However, given time and the proper coaching I could see him developing into a starting NFL safety in a couple of years.
The Chicago Bears do not have a fourth-round pick as they traded this pick to the Minnesota Vikings in the 2020 draft in order to pick outside linebacker Trevis Gipson.
