Chicago Bears Seven Round 2021 NFL Mock Draft

Chicago Bears mock draft second round: Dillon Radunz, OT, North Dakota State
The Chicago Bears have struggled along the offensive line for years now, and I expect the team to spend several picks in the 2021 NFL Draft to address this need. The team finished with Charles Leno and Germain Ifedi as it’s starting offensive tackles last year, and neither one of these players are the long-term answer.
Ryan Pace has never been afraid to draft a small school player to fill a need, as he has drafted at least one FCS player in every draft he has run for the Chicago Bears. The team would be wise to go back to the small school ranks to fill this need as well, and the player who would make perfect sense is North Dakota State’s, Dillon Radunz.
Radunz has started 32 straight games for the Bison at left tackle and was named a first-team FCS All-American in 2019. As a prospect, he shows the skills to play either left tackle or right tackle in the NFL. In pass protection, he shows decent mobility and didn’t allow a sack the entire 2019 season.
However, his best fit might be at right tackle as he is a better run blocker and shows great strength in this area of his game.
