player. 45. . Edge. Denver Broncos. Kwity Paye. 9

The Denver Broncos may look to the future after the criminal investigation of Von Miller. Even if no charges are brought up against him they may look to get younger at the edge rusher position.

Paye has been climbing up the big boards as of late and I see him as the best edge rusher in the entire 2021 NFL Draft class. He is freakishly strong, can rush off the edge quickly, and knows how to use his hands.

He would be a great fit for the Broncos and can learn from one of the best in Miller if he is back with the Broncos in 2021.

Patrick Surtain II . 10. player. 123. . CB. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys defense was pretty bad this past season and they hope to turn things around by bringing in former Falcons head coach Dan Quinn for their defensive coordinator vacancy. Quinn will have his work cut out but adding a playmaker like Surtain II will help any defense from day one.

Surtain II’s father was one of the best cornerbacks during his time and his son is looking to follow those footsteps as one of the best cornerbacks to ever play for Alabama. I think Farley who was taken two picks earlier is a faster player but Surtain II has better instincts and ball skills.

I compare Surtain II to another former cornerback for the Cowboys, former 2015 first-rounder Byron Jones who now is a member of the Miami Dolphins.

QB. New England Patriots. Trey Lance. 11. player. 47.

Trade: The New York Giants trade the 11th overall pick to New England for the 15th  pick, 47th pick, 110th pick and 2022 first-rounder.

The New England Patriots make a bold move up four spots to select their quarterback of the future. Let’s face it Cam Newton failed after signing a one-year deal with the Patriots and it remains to be seen if Jarret Stidham is the future of the franchise.

The Patriots have not taken a quarterback in the first round of the draft since 1993 when they selected Drew Bledsoe out of Washington State. Though they also had this guy named Tom Brady for two decades who brought this team six Super Bowls after being a sixth-round pick in 2000.

I believe Trey Lance is one of the best decision-makers at the quarterback position in this draft class. Also, he reminds me a bit of Josh Allen who can scramble outside the pocket and create throws that some QB’s can not.

Christian Darrisaw. 12. player. 42. . OT. San Francisco 49ers

I know everyone thinks that the 49ers are going to land a quarterback in this draft but I believe that Jimmy Garoppolo can still be a solid quarterback when healthy for this team. I could see the 49ers go in multiple directions with this pick but I like them adding a big body up front on the offensive line.

Darrisaw checks all the boxes for an offensive tackle, he has size, length, and mobility standpoint. He’s not Sewell or Slater but he has the chance to be a stud at the left guard position.
