The New Orleans Saints will most likely be without longtime quarterback, Drew Brees, going forward, as 2020 was likely his last year of play. So in comes Jameis Winston? I think they went out and got him for a reason last offseason, so I would not be surprised if they opted to stick with him in 2021 and give him a shot.

If they believe they are set at quarterback, the Saints roster really has very few holes. They could go with an edge rusher if they lose Trey Hendrickson in free agency, but with most of the high-end edge rushers off the board, I think they opt to try to get Winston some more weapons to work with.

Bringing in a dynamic playmaker like Kadarius Toney to play alongside Michael Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and Tre’Quan Smith would give Winston quite the arsenal to work with. Toney is a quick and shifty player who is electric with the ball in his hands.

With experience at both running back and wide receiver, it can be as simple as get him the ball and let him work. Operating a lot out of the slot or even out of the backfield, Toney could use his athleticism to exploit mismatches and make big plays with the ball in his hands.

Toney is one the risers at this point in the 2021 NFL Draft process and could certainly hear his name called on night one of the draft come April.
