Cleveland Browns 2021 mock draft: 2nd pick

One of the most popular areas being addressed for the Cleveland Browns in mock draft scenarios is the pass rush department.

Everyone knows Myles Garrett is a superstar and game-changer off the edge for Cleveland. Olivier Vernon had a productive season in spurts in 2020, but the Browns could use some young blood out there and athletic pass rushers can make all the difference in Joe Woods’ scheme.

The more pressure you can get with less guys, the more his aggressive coverage schemes will work.

Jayson Oweh looks like he was carved out of marble and has the athleticism to go along with his impressive physical stature. There are some fair questions about sack production here, but sacks are not the only way to measure a pass rusher’s success.

Oweh was a player many wanted to see in 2020 after flashes in the couple of years prior, and he certainly came through with more impressive tape.

The tools are there for Oweh to be a much more productive pro than he has been for Penn State, and playing opposite Myles Garrett, he could truly shine.
