2021 NFL Draft: 32nd overall

Scouting Report. Landon Dickerson. player. 124. Pick Analysis. OL. Alabama. 32

Last, but certainly not least, in this 2021 NFL Draft mock is the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs narrowly escaped with a 22-17 win over the Browns after losing Patrick Mahomes to a concussion in the second. Hopefully, he will be back next week for their showdown with the Bills in the AFC Championship.

This team is primed for a repeat and should be the favorites to do so. Their offense is still as lethal as ever, and Mahomes is still playing elite football. Their defense looks good up front, and they’re getting a good year from rookie L’Jarius Sneed to help out that secondary.

One thing that has bothered the Chiefs this season is when teams can create pressure from the interior, collapsing the pocket and forcing Mahomes to escape, throwing off the rhythm of the offense. Finding some help there would be huge.

He has an ACL tear, which won’t give him great remarks in the health portion of scouting, but Alabama’s Landon Dickerson would be perfect to help out the Chiefs woes on the interior. He was the leader on that Crimson Tide offense and is the toughest player out there. He’s strong at the point of attack and can reset the line.
