2021 NFL mock draft: Round 4, 120th overall

Pick Analysis. 4. 812. player. Scouting Report. TE. Ohio State. Jeremy Ruckert

Washington may have found something in tight end Logan Thomas but it would be nice to see them make a long-term investment at the position if the right opportunity presents itself. In the fourth round of this 2021 NFL mock draft, Washington finds the right opportunity by bringing Ohio State tight end Jeremy Ruckert into the mix.

Ruckert is a big and strong tight end prospect who displays a wide catch radius and impressive contested-catch ability. He is not an elite athlete at the position but he does show solid speed in the middle of the field and the ability to separate against many linebackers. Simply put, Ruckert has great hands and is a strong blocker at the tight end position. He would undoubtedly be a valuable addition to Washington’s offensive attack.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 5, 159th overall

S. Reed Blankenship. 58. Pick Analysis. Middle Tennessee State. 5. player. Scouting Report

Reed Blankenship has a fantastic nose for the ball at the safety position, showing great range on the back-end and strong in-the-box ability. Blankenship is a strong zone coverage safety and is an extremely reliable tackler in space. The Washington Football Team needs to improve their stock of talent in the secondary and adding Blankenship to the mix would be another step in the right direction.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 7, 238th overall

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. IOL. player. 814. Georgia. Trey Hill. 7

Injuries held Trey Hill back a handful of times through his college career but when he was on the field, he was always a stable presence in the middle of the Georgia offensive line. Hill lacks ideal athleticism up front but he is dominant at the point of attack. As both a run blocker and pass protector, Hill typically dominates the defender if he can get his hands on him. With center and guard versatility, Hill is a worthy late-round flyer for Washington.

2021 NFL mock draft: Round 7, 240th overall

854. Pick Analysis. Frank Darby. player. Scouting Report. WR. Arizona State. 7

With their final pick of this 2021 NFL mock draft, Washington finds another interesting offensive playmaker to add to the mix. Frank Darby lacks ideal size at the wide receiver position and is not an elite athlete. That being said, he shows quick feet, is a smart route runner and is an extremely tough player. Darby would provide good depth to the wide receiver room and could make an immediate impact for the team on special teams.
