2021 NFL Draft: Alabama, Ohio State load up two-round mock draft
2021 NFL Draft 1st round: 19th pick
The Washington Football Team made the playoffs in the first year of the Ron Rivera era, though in pretty much any other year, they might not have.
They’re not going to complain, however, about having a shot to make some noise with Alex Smith playing well in his incredible comeback season.
It’s obvious that Washington is going to need to figure out a way to upgrade the offensive side of the ball in the 2021 offseason and there is perhaps no more critical area for them to address than the offensive line.
Rashawn Slater opted out of the 2020 season but the last time we saw him play, he looked like a first-round pick.
Slater has a signature game against Washington’s Chase Young and experience at both right and left tackle which will make him an attractive option for just about every NFL team in need of offensive line help.
There are also those who feel that Slater could transition well to the interior offensive line at the next level.
