2021 NFL Draft: Alabama, Ohio State load up two-round mock draft
2021 NFL Draft 1st round: 13th pick
The Los Angeles Chargers have struck gold with Justin Herbert, the QB3 of the 2020 NFL Draft who wound up setting the NFL’s rookie record for touchdown passes.
Even the most optimistic Herbert supporters couldn’t have foreseen the tremendous breakthrough he would experience as an NFL rookie, which started off with the strange competition with Tyrod Taylor for starting duties.
Now that Herbert has solidified himself as the Chargers’ franchise quarterback, they need to do everything in their power to protect their most valuable asset.
When you look at Darrisaw’s game, you see a player who has franchise left tackle written all over him. His size, length, athleticism, and killer instinct out there make him a top prospect at one of the most valuable positions in football.
Darrisaw was strong before this past season, but his 2020 campaign really put him over the top as far as being an intriguing guy and a must-have type of guy.
For the Chargers, this would almost be a no-brainer.
