Atlanta Falcons build toward future in seven-round 2021 NFL mock draft
2021 NFL mock draft: Round 2, 36th overall
Edge rusher stands out as a major need for the Atlanta Falcons and Azeez Ojulari stands out as one of the premier players at the position in the class. If Ojulari is available when the Falcons go on the clock in the second round, he stands out as an easy selection for the team.
Ojulari is an incredibly quick and athletic edge defender who shines as an outside pass rusher. He is extremely quick off of the ball, bends around the edge with ease and closes on the quarterback in an instant.
The Atlanta Falcons need to improve their stock of talent at the edge rusher position and adding Ojulari to the mix would certainly be a step in the right direction. Snagging him with in the second round of the 2021 NFL mock draft would be an ideal scenario for the team.
2021 NFL mock draft: Round 3, 68th overall
Andre Cisco is coming off of a torn ACL and that has obviously hurt his draft stock in a big way. That being said, Cisco’s ability to make an impact on the back-end consistently stands out on the field and his game is tailor-made for the modern NFL.
Cisco is an extremely quick and athletic safety prospect who shines in coverage as a deep safety. Cisco shows great range on the back-end and has a knack for making plays on the ball. In Cisco, the Atlanta Falcons find a tremendous playmaker who can thrive for the team in a single-high role.
