Kyle Pitts. 5. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. TE. Florida. 56. player

Penei Sewell stands out as the ideal first-round target for the Cincinnati Bengals, but he is no longer on the board here at No. 5. Instead, the Bengals find themselves an elite offensive weapon for quarterback Joe Burrow, adding tight end Kyle Pitts to the mix.

Taking Pitts here may look like a reach to some but he is an incredible playmaker at the tight end position who could quickly become a premier option for the Bengals in the passing game. An offensive attack with Pitts, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd making plays for Burrow could be special.

54. Scouting Report. WR. LSU. 6. player. Pick Analysis. Ja'Marr Chase

With both Carson Wentz and Jalen Hurts on the roster it is difficult to see the Eagles spending a high pick at the quarterback position. That being said, they could certainly use some help in the passing game and Ja’Marr Chase would certainly be a helpful addition.

Chase is an extremely well-rounded wide receiver prospect who should be able to come in and make an immediate impact at the next level. No matter who ends up playing quarterback for Philadelphia, having Chase on the roster would help undoubtedly help them have success.

LB. Micah Parsons. 50. 7. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Penn State

Micah Parsons is an extremely athletic linebacker prospect who can make a major impact against the run and the pass at the next level. Parsons is certainly a bit of a raw player, but his combination of size and speed gives him massive upside on the defensive side of the ball. If Parsons can reach his ceiling, he could quickly become a major defensive weapon for the Detroit Lions.

Scouting Report. Gregory Rousseau. 31. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Miami (FL). 8. player

Gregory Rousseau stands out as an impact edge rusher who is quick off of the ball and bends around the edge with ease. He has long arms and closes on the quarterback in an instant. Rousseau’s raw upside as a speed rusher on the edge is exciting, making him an obvious target for the New York Giants here at No. 8.

The Giants defense has performed better than expected this season, but they undoubtedly lack a true impact player on the edge. Rousseau could quickly become the missing piece of their defensive attack.

QB. player. Pick Analysis. Trey Lance. 9. 87. Scouting Report. North Dakota State

This mock draft really falls well for the Carolina Panthers as they simply sit back and take a player who they can build around at the quarterback position. Trey Lance is an extremely talented quarterback prospect who shines as both a runner and a passer. His speed and power with the ball in his hands are consistently impressive and he has the arm talent needed to hit any throw on the field.

Lance is certainly a raw quarterback prospect who will likely need some time before being ready to step in and play at the next level. This makes Carolina a great fit as they can move forward with Teddy Bridgewater as their starting quarterback for another season before moving on to Lance the year after.

Pick Analysis. CB. Virginia Tech. 45. Scouting Report. Caleb Farley. 10. player

Caleb Farley may be the most naturally gifted defensive prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft class. He is a big and long cornerback who moves incredibly well for his size. Farley is smooth in coverage and can break on the ball in an instant. The Denver Broncos could snag Farley at No. 10 and build their defense around a player who could quickly become a shutdown corner on the outside.
