The Jacksonville Jaguars should be making these five prospects a priority in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Jacksonville Jaguars currently sit at 1-12 on the year and are clearly looking ahead to next year. There is some interesting talent on their roster, they are 1-12 for a reason, this is not a good football team. Luckily, with a ton of cap space expected to be available and plenty of 2021 NFL Draft capital, they will be in a strong position to improve this roster over the offseason.

With a pair of selections in each of the first two rounds, the Jaguars will have a great opportunity to add more young impact talent to their roster in the 2021 NFL Draft. In this post, we are going to look at specific prospects who they should be targeting through all seven rounds.

Here are the five 2021 NFL Draft prospects who the Jacksonville Jaguars simply cannot live without.

Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields

This one simply just depends on where the Jaguars end up making their first pick. As of right now, they hold the second overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and are unlikely to fall any further than that. However, if the New York Jets can walk away with a single win before the season is over and the Jags lose out, they will end up picking No. 1.

If the Jags get a little lucky and end up with that first pick, Trevor Lawrence will be the selection. If they stand pat at No. 2, Justin Fields should be the choice. That is the end of the list. The Jacksonville Jaguars need to solve their quarterback issues in the worst kind of way and both of these players have franchise quarterback written all over them.

Make no mistake about it, if the Jags leave the 2021 NFL Draft without Lawrence or Fields on the roster, it should be considered a major disappointment.
