Continuing the build the Cincinnati Bengals with a complete seven-round 2021 NFL mock draft.

Led by quarterback Joe Burrow, the Cincinnati Bengals showed plenty of promise at the start of the season. Burrow was slinging the ball all over the field and the team seemed to be on the right track. Unfortunately, Burrow suffered a devastating knee injury during their Week 11 loss to the Washington Football Team.

Burrow was on track to be the Offensive Rookie of the Year, but now, the team looks like a mess and Burrow may not even be back for the start of next season. Things are not looking great in Cincinnati and changes will be needed over the offseason.

Burrow’s knee injury was obviously a step back, but it was not a death sentence for this team. Assuming he comes back healthy, they can get back on track if they surround their franchise quarterback with the right talent. In this post, we are going to look to find the right talent to improve the Cincinnati Bengals with a complete seven-round 2021 NFL mock draft.

Round 1, 3rd Overall

OT. Oregon. Penei Sewell. 820. 1. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

If the Cincinnati Bengals currently hold the third overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and if that holds true through the rest of the season, the decision is simple. Penei Sewell is one of the best overall prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft class and the offensive line is a massive area of need. This is an obvious pairing that needs to happen if the Bengals have the opportunity.

Sewell is an incredible athlete at the offensive tackle position, showing quick feet and fantastic movement ability in space. He is also an incredibly powerful player who dominates at the point of attack anchors extremely well in pass protection. Simply put, Sewell is an elite offensive tackle prospect who shines as both a run blocker and pass protector. Adding him to the mix in Cincinnati would drastically improve their offensive line situation in an instant.
