Jacksonville Jaguars seven-round 2021 NFL mock draft
Improving the Jacksonville Jaguars in a complete seven-round 2021 NFL mock draft.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to be one of the most interesting teams to watch over the offseason. After the recent firing of David Caldwell, the search and hiring of a new general manager will likely kick off the offseason for Jacksonville and a new head coach may not be far behind.
No matter who ends up being in charge, it will undoubtedly be an interesting offseason for the Jaguars. The Jags will be armed with a ton of cap space and 2021 NFL Draft capital this offseason, allowing them to make significant additions to their roster. And let’s be honest, this 1-10 team could use some significant additions.
In this post, we are going to go seven rounds deep with the Jacksonville Jaguars with a complete mock draft for the team. The Jags first go on the clock in this mock draft with the second overall pick and will follow that up with a late first-round selection that they received from the Los Angeles Rams in the Jalen Ramsey trade. Let’s see what they can do with all of this draft capital.

Round 1, 2nd Overall
For me, this pick is pretty easy. With Trevor Lawrence off of the board at No. 1, Justin Fields stands out as the obvious pick for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Zach Wilson and Trey Lance are great and undoubtedly deserve consideration if the Jags do end up landing this pick, but Fields will likely stand tall above both of them in the end.
Fields is a big and athletic quarterback prospect who shows impressive natural arm talent and fantastic accuracy to all levels. He throws the ball with great anticipation and is a strong natural playmaker with the ball in his hands. Fields also shows high-level improvising skills, creating plays on the fly of nothing when needed.
Simply put, Fields is an elite quarterback prospect who has massive upside at the next level. The Gardner Minshew era was fun, but the Jags simply cannot pass up this opportunity to snag a guy like Fields. Now, they just have to find the proper players to place around him.
