2021 NFL Draft: Team jumps into top 10 for QB in 2021 mock draft
After going all defense in Matt Rhule’s first draft class with the team, the Panthers continue the trend here.
Could they go with a quarterback or offensive lineman?
Absolutely.
However, at this point, none of the available prospects are on the same level of Patrick Surtain II, who is capable of absolutely shutting down his side of the field.
He’s proven that repeatedly over the last three seasons at Alabama.
Getting a shut-down cornerback like this could do wonders to improve an already vastly improved defense in Carolina and there’s no rush here for a quarterback to come in. If the Panthers are healthy on that side of the ball, Teddy Bridgewater has proven he can put up numbers.
