2021 NFL Draft: Team jumps into top 10 for QB in 2021 mock draft
The Minnesota Vikings have needs all over the defensive side of the ball, and with just one pick in the first two rounds, they might need to focus their attention on that side of the ball.
With that said, they also might have a gaping hole at left tackle in their offense.
The Vikings have moved 2020 second-round pick Ezra Cleveland to the right guard position. He’s played well there and doesn’t look like he’s going to need a position switch unless the Vikings determine he’s best at left tackle for the long-term.
Riley Reiff is a free agent in 2021 so the left tackle spot is going to need to be addressed, and the Vikings can’t really afford for that to be a problem area.
Alijah Vera-Tucker can play both tackle or guard and he’s done a tremendous job this season taking over for Austin Jackson at that left tackle spot for the Trojans.
