EDGE. Joseph Ossai. 26. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Texas. 18. player

The Baltimore Ravens were such a dominant team in the 2019 season that many of their flaws were masked.

One area of this roster that clearly needs upgrading is off the edge, which is why Baltimore traded for Yannick Ngakoue.

They didn’t give up a lot to get Ngakoue, though, and without a long-term contract in place, both Ngakoue and Matt Judon are slated for free agency in 2021.

Will the Ravens keep one? Both? Neither?

More likely than not, the Ravens will be keeping one of those guys around and while they don’t necessarily have to spend their first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on adding a complement on the other side, Joseph Ossai would be tough to pass on here.

He’s been living in the backfield this season for Texas with 13.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks in six games along with three forced fumbles.

He’s a playmaker off the edge and could help get the ball back into Lamar Jackson’s hands as much as possible.
