Pick Analysis. South Carolina. Jaycee Horn. player. 42. Scouting Report. CB. 16

The San Francisco 49ers have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL which is evidenced by the fact that nearly half of their roster is on injured reserve and they still have a 5-6 record 11 games into the season.

Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch have done a really good job of building this program up, and there is no question that when they are at full strength, this 49ers roster is tough to deal with.

Defensively, they could use an infusion of youth on the back end and that’s where Jaycee Horn comes into play.

Horn is the son of former NFL wide receiver Joe Horn so he’s got football running through his veins.

He’s also one of the toughest and most physical defensive backs in this draft class with great size, length, and competitiveness at the catch point.

Horn opted to focus on the 2021 NFL Draft after picking off a pair of passes in seven games this season for South Carolina.
