TE. Florida. Kyle Pitts. player. Pick Analysis. 15. 47. Scouting Report

The New England Patriots used two third-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft on the tight end position, but Kyle Pitts is a different type of beast.

A true weapon in the passing game, Pitts has been wildly productive in the 2020 season for the Florida Gators with 11 touchdowns on just 29 receptions and a whopping 17.7 yards per reception average.

Pitts can do it all from the tight end position and is no hack when it comes to blocking, either, though that’s not really his game.

The Patriots lack any real threatening weapons in the passing game right now, and Pitts is a player who can help raise all boats. Whether New England brings back Cam Newton or they bring in another quarterback remains to be seen, but getting a dynamic threat like this who can line up in-line, out wide, in the slot, or as an H-back type (he’s done it all for Florida) would be great for them.
