WR. Jaylen Waddle. 9. 50. Pick Analysis. Alabama. player. Scouting Report

This has been one of the most popular mock draft picks the entire year.

Jaylen Waddle’s 2021 NFL Draft stock is a question mark at this point since he suffered a season-ending injury earlier this year. Prior to that injury, Waddle was looking as-advertised with his game-changing speed, explosiveness, and toughness in the open field.

Waddle’s big-time speed is an asset any NFL team would love to have, but it might be a necessity for a team like Detroit.

Kenny Golladay is slated for free agency but he should be slapped with the franchise tag.

With Golladay’s size and Waddle’s speed, the Lions might be cooking with a little something in the passing game next season.

It’s crucial that medicals come back clean here, but Waddle could be a great pickup for the new regime in Detroit.
