2. Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are somewhat of a confusing team to be on this list given the talent on the offensive side of the ball they have.

It doesn’t feel like it was that long ago this team had one of the best offenses in the league, and they are the only team in the entire NFL with an entire starting 11 (when healthy) of former first-round draft picks.

Atlanta fired Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff likely with that in mind, and this is a perplexing team to try and project for prospective coach/GM candidates.

The offense is certainly talented. The defense needs plenty of work at all three levels. Matt Ryan isn’t getting any younger, and whatever coach/GM take over this team are likely going to be tasked with keeping the immediate championship window open since Ryan’s contract is virtually un-tradeable.
