Washington Football Team 3rd-round picks

One of the most instinctive playmakers at safety in college football, LeCounte is the type of leader and all-around team player who would be a great fit in the early portion of the third round for a team like Washington.

With Landon Collins on IR the Washington secondary has obviously taken a hit, and a player like LeCounte could come in and play a substantial role in sub packages right away for Washington.

Getting Asante Samuel Jr. in the third round would be nothing short of highway robbery for the Washington Football Team.

Samuel may not be the biggest corner in this class, but he has tremendous ball skills and refined enough technique to be an instant impact player at the next level.

I’ve had him projected in the first round of some mock drafts, and personally, I think the second round is his floor. If he goes into the third round, for whatever reason(s), he is an absolute steal.
