2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 57th Overall

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Jaelan Phillips. 57. 16. Miami (FL). player

Jaelan Phillips was a celebrated recruit out of high school who appeared to have an incredibly bright future ahead of him. While his college career did not go as expected, Phillips has been a monster on the edge for Miami this season and has worked his way into being a strong value selection in this range.

Phillips has all of the natural talent in the world, showing an explosive first step, plenty of speed around the edge and strong power at the point of attack. He is a legitimate impact player against the run and as a pass rusher and would undoubtedly be a great addition to the Buffalo Bills’ defense.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 58th Overall

Michigan. 51. Scouting Report. EDGE. 58. player. Pick Analysis. Aidan Hutchinson

Aidan Hutchinson is not the most explosive athlete at the EDGE position in the 2021 NFL Draft class, but he is a smart and instinctual player who can wreak havoc against the run and the pass. Hutchinson is quick off of the ball and consistently displays strong hands. He is a rock-solid defensive contributor who would bring some stability to the Los Angeles Rams’ defensive front.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 59th Overall

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Pittsburgh. IDL. Jaylen Twyman. 59. player. 48

Jaylen Twyman does lack a bit of size on the inside, but he is a quick and explosive defensive tackle who can wreak havoc as a one-gap penetrator. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could certainly use some impact depth on the interior defensive line and Twyman feels like a guy who could come in and contribute right away, even if it is mostly on passing downs.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 60th Overall

Scouting Report. WR. USC. 60. player. Pick Analysis. Amon-Ra St. Brown. 26

The Baltimore Ravens have put together an interesting group of receivers who have a ton of long-term upside. That being said, most of their players are primarily big-play weapons. They currently lack receivers who can consistently make plays in the short-to-intermediate range and that is where Amon-Ra St. Brown comes in.

St. Brown is a quick and shifty receiver who shows incredible natural route-running ability. He is a dangerous weapon out of the slot who can consistently beat man coverage and make plays at the sticks. St. Brown also shows some explosive speed, allowing him to make plays as a deep receiver at times as well.
