2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 39th Overall

Scouting Report. S. TCU. 39. 44. Pick Analysis. Trevon Moehrig. player

The Atlanta Falcons have struggled on all three levels of the defense this season and will need to improve the unit if they expect to compete in 2021. Here, they make a significant addition to their secondary by bringing in TCU safety Trevon Moehrig.

Moehrig is a quick and athletic safety prospect who shows a ton of ability in deep zone coverage. He shines in single-high situations, showing off fantastic range on the back-end and strong overall ball skills. The Falcons have a lot of work to do on the defensive side of the ball, but having Moehrig on the back-end would undoubtedly help hide a lot of holes.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 40th Overall

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Georgia. 40. player. CB. Tyson Campbell. 42

Cornerback stands out as a massive need for the San Francisco 49ers and Tyson Campbell is a long and physical player at the position who fits their profile well. Campbell does a great job of pressing the receiver at the line of scrimmage and has the speed and athleticism needed to keep up in man coverage.

His combination of speed and length stands out at all times and makes Campbell a dangerous player on the outside. Simply put, Campbell is an impressive cover cornerback who undoubtedly has a high ceiling at the next level.

2021 NFL Draft: Round 2, 41st Overall

IOL. 41. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Josh Myers. 59. Ohio State

This pick comes to the Miami Dolphins via the Houston Texans

The Dolphins have done a great job of remaking their offensive line and putting together solid protection for Tua Tagovailoa. However, the center position still stands out as a long-term position of need, making Josh Myers an obvious fit here.

Myers is a big and powerful center prospect who handle big defenders on the inside. He fires off of the ball quickly and drives defenders off of the line of scrimmage with ease. Myers also shows solid mobility and anchors in pass protection extremely well. The Dolphins find their long-term center early in the second round of this mock draft.
