A complete seven-round 2021 NFL mock draft for the Minnesota Vikings.
The season is far from over for the Minnesota Vikings. They currently sit at 4-5 and are certainly in contention for a Wild Card spot. That being said, this is an inconsistent team that is unlikely to be seriously competitive down the stretch.
It may seem early to look ahead to the offseason for a team like Minnesota, but that’s what we do. Let’s see how the Minnesota Vikings can improve this offseason with a complete seven-round 2021 NFL mock draft for the team.

Round 1, 14th Overall
Kirk Cousins has been okay this season, but this team undoubtedly has a limited ceiling as long as he is their starting quarterback. The Vikings should jump on an opportunity to make a big move at the quarterback position in the 2021 NFL Draft if they can. In this mock draft, North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance was on the board at No. 14, making this an easy choice.
Lance is an incredibly impressive quarterback prospect who shows an elite combination of arm talent and athleticism at the position. He can hit any throw on the field and shows impressive accuracy to all levels. He throws a pretty deep ball and is a dangerous runner with the ball in his hands.
While Lance is certainly a bit of a raw player and there are concerns about his level of competition in college. That being said, he is an incredibly talented player who has the ability to take the Vikings to the next level. Whether he would start right away or not, Lance would undoubtedly raise the ceiling of how far the Minnesota Vikings can go.
