Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

If you’re going to play wide receiver and wear number 85 for the Cincinnati Bengals, you better show up and so far Tee Higgins has. The start to his season was a bit slow, but as his chemistry with Joe Burrow has improved his numbers have started to rise each week.

The first sign of the connection came in the second week of the season when Higgins was targeted nine times and hauled in two touchdowns. However, right around week six is when the chemistry really started clicking. While Higgins was receiving at least a handful of targets each week, week six is when it all came together.

In that game, Higgins logged his first career 100-yard receiving game with 125 yards against Indianapolis. The next week against Cleveland, he found the end zone. Week eight against Tennessee was a bit of a down week, only catching six passes for 78 yards, but last week was his best of the season.

Going against the Steelers, one of the best defenses in the league, Higgins was still able to go for 115 yards and a touchdown, hauling in seven of his nine targets.

Considering that the Bengals game script will probably call for a lot of passing the rest of the season, Higgins and Burrow should continue to grow together. As that connection strengths, Higgins’ numbers should as well.
