2021 NFL Draft: Jets, Jaguars make trades in new 2021 NFL mock draft

Saints win Super Bowl, add wide receiver
I still have the New Orleans Saints as the Super Bowl champions, but this season has shown a bit of their weakness. The absence of Michael Thomas forced the team to rely on Alvin Kamara because they lacked a player at the wide receiver position who could step up without Thomas.
Kamara is the team’s leading receiver with over 500 yards while the top wide receiver is Emmanuel Sanders who has played in just six games and has a little over 340 yards. If the Saints want to extend Drew Brees’ career and stay competitive, they will need to add additional weapons.
The 2021 NFL Draft will be deep at the wide receiver position. Some believed Rashod Bateman to be one of the top receivers in the class, but the Saints are still able to snag him with the final pick of the first round here.
So far in 2020, Bateman is averaging over 100 yards receiving a game with just over 300 through three games. He’s also tallied one touchdown, which is down from his 2019 pace when he scored 11 times over 13 games. There’s plenty of time for him to raise his stock and recapture the attention of scouts throughout the NFL.
