2021 NFL Draft: Jets, Jaguars make trades in new 2021 NFL mock draft

Broncos add another pass rusher
The Denver Broncos have a solid defense on paper with Bradley Chubb and Von Miller, but injuries have played a role in their defense being a bit subpar from what we’ve come to know.
On top of that, the Broncos don’t need a whole lot on offense. Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick and K.J Hamler have been impressive and they still have Courtland Sutton who has been hurt. The same story goes for Noah Fant and even Drew Lock.
Had one of the four quarterbacks fallen here, maybe the Broncos give it a shot, but instead, they add to their pass rush by taking Gregory Rousseau. This season has shown that the Denver defense becomes a shell of itself without Von Miller. While Rousseau isn’t Miller, he adds another dimension to the defense that can replace that void if Miller were to miss more time.
When healthy, Miller, Chubb and Rousseau would form one of the nastiest trios in the NFL coming off the edge. There are other options for the Broncos, but creating a three-headed monster like that is hard to turn away from. Offenses can try to stop one or two of them, but stopping all three would be nearly impossible.
