2021 NFL Draft: New mock draft with Justin Fields, Zach Wilson rising
If the Dolphins were able to use the Houston Texans’ first-round pick on Ja’Marr Chase, they might just be dancing a jig.
After getting one of the best QB prospects from the SEC in 2020 (Tua Tagovailoa), the Dolphins give him a weapon in Ja’Marr Chase with their first of two picks in the 2021 NFL Draft’s first round.
Chase opted out of the 2020 season, and watching LSU’s QB drop off from Joe Burrow it’s easy to see why, but his production as the Biletnikoff winner in 2019 is impossible to ignore.
Chase runs the full route tree. He’s tough and physical. He’s dynamic after the catch. He makes plays at the catch point. He does a little bit of everything well and set an SEC record with 20 receiving touchdowns last year as a result.
He would be a huge weapon in Miami to go along with Tua Tagovailoa.
