Pick Analysis. Patrick Surtain II. player. 123. Scouting Report. CB. Alabama. 9

Even after trading down a handful of spots with the Cincinnati Bengals in this scenario, the Dallas Cowboys come away with a player who could wind up as CB1 on almost every draft board in 2021.

The 2021 NFL Draft class is loaded at the cornerback position, but Patrick Surtain II is a legacy player who has been making huge plays since he stepped foot on the field for the Crimson Tide.

In three seasons, he’s got 17 pass breakups, four interceptions, and four forced fumbles, showing his ability to make plays on the ball.

Capable of completely shutting down his side of the field for extended periods of time, Surtain would be a much-needed infusion of talent into the Dallas Cowboys’ secondary.

If he ended up in Dallas, he would reunite with his former Alabama teammate Trevon Diggs to give Dallas a formidable duo of young cornerbacks.
