2020 NFL Trade Deadline: One trade each team should make
Atlanta Falcons
It will likely be a complete fire-sale if the Atlanta Falcons are active at the NFL trade deadline. After firing head coach Dan Quinn, this organization is likely in for a complete facelift. I would think that no one is off-limits and they are just trying to accrue as much draft capital as they try to set themselves up for a turnaround in the near future.
Carolina Panthers
David Njoku has made it known that he wants out of Cleveland and should provide an upgrade at the position for the Panthers whose current two tight ends both rank 60th or lower in PFF positional rankings.
The team is incredibly young on defense so they may want to get more reps for other guys than Boston and Apple has already seemingly been replaced by some young corners after dealing with injury.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints have two linebackers that have been very good so far this year, Demario Davis and Alex Anzalone. But after those two it gets pretty thin. Collins would add another viable starting backer in a base defense and a solid rotational piece even in two-linebacker sets.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
After losing young stud Vita Vea, the Tampa Bay Bucs already went out and made a move for former Jet Steve McLendon to help on the interior. But I don’t think Tampa is done making moves before the NFL trade deadline.
Dunlap has not been used much in Cincinnati and although he may not be a perfect scheme fit for the Bucs, he is versatile enough to contribute in spurts at 32 years old to an already solid defensive front.
