Jaylen Waddle. Pick Analysis. Wide Receiver. Alabama. 1. player. 829. Scouting Report

Linebacker is a top need for the Miami Dolphins, but both Parsons and Moses were off the board by this selection. Instead, with a bevy of picks, the Dolphins opt for more of a luxury selection here in the first round and roll with Jaylen Waddle as the pick.

Even with Parker and Williams looking like a good duo on the outside, Waddle brings an element of explosion to the offense that isn’t there right now. Waddle has incredible acceleration and vertical speed and is getting better at using them as a route runner. He’s a game-changing threat with the ball in his hands and could be used in a variety of ways in the offense.

Waddle also is great at high pointing the football and catching through contact.

Reuniting Waddle with Tua Tagovailoa would be super fun to watch and make the Dolphins receiver room one of the better ones in the league.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Center. Oklahoma. 815. Creed Humphrey. 1. player

It’s been off to a good start with a room of rookies, but the one weakness of the Dolphins offensive line right now is the center position. It’s not often that an NFL Draft has a center worth taking so high, but for Miami, it makes sense combining need with value.

Creed Humphrey brings a mean streak to the center position and is a nasty finisher in the run game and in pass protection. Returning for another year with Oklahoma was a good move for him to work on his technique, and that could pay off, for him and the Dolphins in 2021.
