Miami Dolphins 2021 mock draft: Wide Receiver, Center in round one
The Miami Dolphins address some needs and make a luxury pick in this 2021 mock draft.
The Miami Dolphins are off to a much better start than a year ago. At 2-3 after five games, Miami is right in the thick of the AFC Playoff race. They’ve hung in with the Patriots, Seahawks, and Bills in their losses, and went out and dominated the reigning NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers 43-17 on Sunday. Ryan Fitzpatrick was slinging it all over the yard, and Preston Williams and DeVante Parker were winning vertically all day long.
The defense forced two Jimmy Garoppolo interceptions and pressured backup C.J. Beathard after Garoppolo’s benching. The offensive line, which featured rookies Solomon Kindley and Robert Hunt on the right side, played very well and the rookie pair didn’t look like rookies at all.
This Dolphins team is balanced enough to push for a wild card spot, especially when everything clicks like it did on Sunday. Fitzpatrick is playing at a high level, the offensive line is much improved, and the secondary is playing incredible. Plus, the team can take its time bringing Tua Tagovailoa up to speed mentally and physically to start in 2021. The rebuild is going very well.
However, no team in the NFL is without holes. Miami finds themselves in need of a few positions. The good news is that the Dolphins have plenty of ammo in the 2021 NFL Draft to address those needs, while also having the ability to throw some capital at a luxury pick to beef up other position groups. Let’s take a look at a new mock draft for the Miami Dolphins that addresses needs and makes the offense even more fun.
