TRADE: Washington trades QB Dwayne Haskins to Steelers for 2021 3rd-round pick
Four selections in and we have four quarterback trades.
The Pittsburgh Steelers come in and snag Dwayne Haskins away from the Washington Football team, which unfortunately misses out on the big run on quarterbacks.
Would Ron Rivera even part with Haskins in that case?
There will be other QBs available, and making Haskins his 3rd QB is as strong of an indicator as anything that Rivera either doesn’t feel he’s the future or has seen enough to know it’s not going to be a fit in Washington.
The Washington offensive line is a mess right now, and Penei Sewell would be a godsend for them.
It doesn’t matter who the quarterback is right now — this Washington offense is not going anywhere without an upgraded offensive line and Sewell accomplishes that.
