2021 NFL Draft: Trevor Lawrence to Giants, big QB trades in mock draft
The defensive identity the Buccaneers are establishing under coordinator Todd Bowles is impressive.
Obviously, Shaquil Barrett should be a centerpiece for this unit for the foreseeable future, but the Bucs and Barrett will have to figure that out contractually.
Jason Pierre-Paul is not getting any younger, either, so the Bucs could be getting in line for EDGE players in this draft class.
Kwity Paye is an exciting edge bender who has been productive all-around but is still really waiting for that breakthrough statistically as a pass rusher.
The NFL sees the athleticism and the upside, to be certain, and Paye would be a tremendous fit off the edge in Todd Bowles’ defense.
He should establish himself this year as the Big Ten makes its return as one of the best edge players in the 2021 NFL Draft class.
