2021 NFL Draft: Trevor Lawrence to Giants, big QB trades in mock draft
After selecting Trey Lance with their top pick, the New York Jets have to get some more weapons for their quarterback.
The 2021 NFL Draft might have an even better crop of playmakers at receiver — at least at the top — compared to the 2020 class.
Rashod Bateman has been amazing for the Minnesota program and has drawn some comparisons to Keenan Allen for his route running and Michael Thomas for his ability to eat up targets and still make huge plays.
Bateman initially opted out for the 2020 season but is coming back to show off his playmaking skills yet again.
With Denzel Mims and even Jamison Crowder, the Jets at least have some pieces out there who can contribute but their group of receivers is one injury away from disastrously bad. Adding Bateman to the mix would give them a true WR1.
