2021 NFL Draft: Trevor Lawrence to Giants, big QB trades in mock draft
The Philadelphia Eagles have been bitten pretty badly by the injury bug in 2020.
That, and Carson Wentz has seemingly taken an inexplicable turn for the worse.
Defensively, the Eagles need plenty. They have long needed help at the cornerback position and they certainly hoped that Darius Slay would be able to come in and provide shutdown ability.
While slay has done solid, the Eagles need more playmakers in the secondary who can help create turnovers, and Caleb Farley is a magnet for the football.
Not only that, but at 6-foot-2 and over 200 pounds, Farley is a physical freak of nature with outstanding athleticism in every regard.
In two seasons at Virginia Tech, he picked off six passes.
He’s going to be a stud in the NFL and he would be a great pickup for the Eagles’ secondary this high in the 2021 NFL Draft.
