The Denver Broncos nearly used the 10th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft on Michigan’s Devin Bush, but they traded the pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers instead.
Two years later, and they might still be searching for an answer at inside linebacker.
To be fair, Alexander Johnson and Josey Jewell have played admirably this season, and Johnson frankly looks like a star.
With that said, Nick Bolton has the look of a top linebacker prospect with his ability to make plays against the run, but where he will really make his money is as a pass defender and three-down playmaker.
Bolton is tremendous in coverage and covers a lot of ground. He’s an ideal fit for the modern linebacker and he has really been excellent early in 2020 for Missouri.
