5. Cornerback

The cornerback position is an interesting one right now for the Denver Broncos.

The team was hoping to get two seasons out of AJ Bouye to be their CB1, but he went on IR after barely one half of play to open the 2020 season.

Bouye will be back in 2020, but durability issues have been an unfortunate part of his story the past couple of seasons.

Bryce Callahan missed all of 2019 with a foot injury, but he has looked very good in the early goings of the 2020 season.

Third-round pick Michael Ojemudia has been picked on at times, but he has looked very good and like a future starter.

Behind those three guys, there are question marks for Denver, though De’Vante Bausby could be a player worth keeping around for the long haul.

If the Broncos decide they need to upgrade this position and like the players near the top of the 2021 NFL Draft class, corner could be a position they target early on.
