2. Tight End

Keeping in mind that the Jaguars could honestly build around Gardner Minshew for the foreseeable future, Kyle Pitts has been one of my favorite offseason mock draft picks for them.

Through the first couple of weeks of the 2020 SEC season, I’m sure Jaguars fans wouldn’t be opposed to this, either.

It’s been tough to see Josh Oliver go on injured reserve for the first couple seasons of his NFL career, and he may yet have a promising future, but the Jaguars can no longer bank on it.

Tyler Eifert, James O’Shaughnessy, and Tyler Davis make up a fairly average tight end group in today’s NFL.

A player like Pitts would make a dynamic addition to Jacksonville’s offense.

He’s not the only player in this particularly loaded draft class at tight end, either.

I think getting a playmaker at this position will be high on Jacksonville’s 2021 NFL Draft priority list.
