The 2021 NFL Draft talk is slowly starting to creep into the NFL world for teams that have yet to win a game in 2020.

Okay, let’s be real — many of us have been talking about the 2021 NFL Draft since shortly after the 2020 NFL Draft ended.

In fact, because of superstar quarterback Trevor Lawrence, many people have been talking about the 2021 NFL Draft for about four years now. Lawrence has been touted as the next best QB prospect since he was a high school star in Georgia, and pundits have touted him as the best quarterback prospect since Andrew Luck coming out of Stanford in 2012.

As good as Lawrence is, there are some teams who will be legitimately competing for the number one overall pick who would potentially pass on him based on their current situations at quarterback.

Let’s be fair, though — those situations are few. Still, they need to be discussed, because there is a decent chance we could see some team mortgage off the number one pick in the 2021 NFL Draft for a king’s ransom to end all king’s ransoms.
