Trevor Lawrence sees your 2021 NFL Draft ‘tank’ tweets.

Trevor Lawrence is going to be the most anticipated NFL prospect since Andrew Luck, no question, and when all is said and done, perhaps even more so.

The top player in the 2021 NFL Draft class, Lawrence has been tremendous already in the 2020 season and looks ready for the next level.

In fact, he has for a couple of years now.

Lawrence’s game has always projected well to the professional level, but he showed in 2019 a side of his overall game that not many knew he had, which is the ability to really be a threat as a runner, and not just when the pocket breaks down.

With all the talent in the world, it’s understandable that there would be fans of many NFL teams hoping their favorite franchise will “Tank for Trevor” just like many fan bases wanted their teams to “Suck for Luck” once upon a time.

That’s nothing new, but what is new is reading that the player teams might be trying to tank for has actually been reading some of the tweets from zealous fans hoping he plays for them in 2021.

Lawrence has been trending on Sundays and told the media at Clemson that he thinks it’s funny seeing different fan bases talking about him every week.

Lawrence told the media that he also hasn’t been a huge NFL fan but that he rooted for the Atlanta Falcons as a kid. Although he was born in Tennessee, Lawrence played his high school ball in Georgia.

It also just so happens that as of the time of this writing, the Atlanta Falcons would have the number one overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft if the season ended today.

Funny how that works, isn’t it?

Fans of 0-3 NFL teams are understandably excited about the prospect of adding such a big-time player like Lawrence to their roster. Just like Andrew Luck did for the Indianapolis Colts in 2012, Lawrence has the ability to be a massive difference-maker for whatever team holds the number one pick and lead them to the playoffs in his first NFL season.
