The Cincinnati Bengals continue to build around Joe Burrow in this three-round 2021 NFL mock draft.

The start of the 2020 season has not exactly gone according to plan for the Cincinnati Bengals. While they have been competitive in every game, the Bengals sit at 0-2-1 through the first three weeks. Their tie against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday was embarassing for both teams and left a bad taste in many mouths as both teams played to tie at the end.

All of being said, we knew that the Cincinnati Bengals were unlikley to be competitive this season. This is a young team with obvious flaws on both sides of the ball. The only thing that really matters for the Bengals this season is the progression of rookie quarterback Joe Burrow. And so far, Burrow looks great.

Through the first three games of his NFL career, Burrow has completed 64.5-percent of his passes for 821 yards, five touchdowns and only one interception. He has been smart and efficient with the ball and has shown impressive playmaking ability in and outside of the pocket. Burrow looks great out there and he is typically doing it while running for his life.

The Cincinnati Bengals have struggled mightily to protect Burrow this season. If they can ever put together a solid offensive line unit to protect him, the sky is the limit.

In this post, we are going to work to improve the Bengals through the 2021 NFL Draft. Nothing is more important for this team than Burrow’s ability to grow as a player going forward, so we are approaching this mock draft with his growth as a franchise quarterback heavily in mind.

Without further ado, here is a three-round 2021 NFL mock draft for the Cincinnati Bengals.
