Justin Simmons is a free agent in 2021 and Kareem Jackson has one year left on his deal and could potentially be a cap casualty.

Even if the Broncos keep both Simmons and Jackson — one of the best safety tandems in the NFL — for another season in 2021, it’s likely they will need to draft some reinforcements for the future of the position.

Reed Blankenship is flying a bit under the radar right now, but he’s got some intriguing potential for the next level if he can stay healthy.

Similar to the way the Broncos use Kareem Jackson all over the place, Blankenship seemingly is in the mix every single play for Middle Tennessee. He flies to the ball in the running game and has eight career interceptions in coverage.
