Without Von Miller, the Denver Broncos’ pass rush has been bordering on the non-existent.

Somehow, the defense as a whole has played quite well despite season-ending injuries to both Miller and Bradley Chubb in the first year-plus of Vic Fangio’s time at the helm.

With that said, the Broncos clearly need more weapons off the edge.

When they won the Super Bowl in the 2015 season, they could get pressure seemingly at will, and right now they just don’t have the depth off the edge to make that happen.

Chris Rumph is an ascending player at Duke whose pass rush skills are still developing, but he has tremendous quickness off the ball and that explosive first step that can really gain him an advantage over offensive tackles.

Rumph has been a tremendous all-around player for Duke but his bread and butter is putting pressure on the quarterback.

He would be an ideal weapon to have coming off the sideline to give Von Miller and Bradley Chubb a breather.
