Unless the Cincinnati Bengals get the top overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, there’s a good chance that whatever team winds up earning the pick is going to take Trevor Lawrence.

If the Denver Broncos continue losing and Drew Lock doesn’t play well enough to keep them out of the top pick sweepstakes, how do you argue against this selection here?

If you have a chance at Lawrence, you just about have to take it.

Lawrence is considered a similar caliber of prospect on the level of Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning. Every skill and intangible quality, Lawrence possesses. He has the prototype size for a pocket passer, and he already sees the field like a pro.

Whether he’s asked to make throws that require velocity or accuracy, he makes them. If the Tigers want to use him for RPO type stuff, he’s good with that as well.

Simply put, Lawrence is an outstanding quarterback prospect and if you have to compete with Patrick Mahomes, this is a guy you can’t pass up on.
