Scouting Report. Samuel Cosmi. Texas. 32. player. 124. Pick Analysis. OT

The Kansas City Chiefs are set up for 15 years of contention with Patrick Mahomes under contract for the next 12 and a Super Bowl and MVP already under his belt.

Kansas City is in an enviable position when you look across the league as they have not only managed to lock Mahomes into a contract that looks pretty team-friendly in the long run, but they have also managed to get some major players around him re-signed to contracts and fit everything under the salary cap.

At least for now.

It’s possible that one of the casualties of the Chiefs’ recent roster moves and re-signings is left tackle Eric Fisher. We won’t make any declarations based on the way they’ve been able to keep quite literally everyone else, but at some point that has to catch up to them, right?

Samuel Cosmi could be a nice value here in the late first-round, an offensive tackle with tremendous athleticism and length who could probably step into a starting role as a rookie and do a good job in this Kansas City offense.
