The Pittsburgh Steelers always seem to find good value in the NFL Draft, and this potential selection would be nothing new for them in that regard.
Leatherwood has played both tackle and guard for the Crimson Tide and the Steelers could have needs at both positions in 2021.
Left tackle Alejandro Villanueva is a free agent at the end of the season, while the right guard position has taken some serious hits in the injury department (as has right tackle).
Even if 2020 rookie Kevin Dotson can fill the void at guard for the Steelers, this is a team that could be looking for a new left tackle and Leatherwood fits their physical style of play.
His versatility to play both guard and tackle (and some think he could also be a center) is a huge bonus.
